Welcome to Text Art – Add Text on Photo ("App", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our Android application.

By installing or using Text Art, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and discontinue use.

2.1 Data You Provide

• Photos & Images: Photos you select from your gallery or capture with your camera for editing. These are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
• Edited Images: Images you save are stored on your device's local storage only.

2.2 Data Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device model, OS version, screen resolution, and unique device identifiers.
• Advertising ID (GAID): Google's resettable Advertising ID, used for personalized advertisements.
• Usage Analytics: App open events, feature usage, session duration collected anonymously via Firebase Analytics.
• Crash Reports: Crash logs and stack traces sent automatically via Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs.
• Network Information: Network connectivity status (Wi-Fi / Mobile Data) to optimize content loading.
• Push Notification Token: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and OneSignal tokens to deliver notifications.

The following Android permissions are requested by the app:

• App Functionality: To enable photo editing, text overlay, templates, gallery import, camera capture, image saving, wallpaper setting, and image sharing features.
• Advertising: To display banner, interstitial, native, and app open ads via Google AdMob and Facebook Audience Network. Ads help us keep the app free.
• Analytics: To understand how users interact with the app using Firebase Analytics (data is anonymized).
• Crash Reporting: To detect, diagnose, and fix app crashes using Firebase Crashlytics.
• Push Notifications: To send you important updates and new feature announcements via Firebase Cloud Messaging and OneSignal.
• Remote Configuration: To update ad unit IDs and app settings remotely via Firebase Realtime Database without requiring an app update.
• Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA.

The App integrates the following third-party SDKs and services. Each has its own Privacy Policy:

Text Art is a free app supported by advertisements. We use Google AdMob (with Facebook Audience Network mediation) to show ads, which may include:

• Banner Ads — small ads shown within the app interface
• Interstitial Ads — full-screen ads shown between actions
• Native Ads — ads styled to match the app design
• App Open Ads — shown when resuming the app from background

Managing Your Advertising ID

You can opt out of personalized ads or reset your Advertising ID at any time:

• Go to Settings → Google → Ads on your Android device
• Select "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or "Reset Advertising ID"

Ad Frequency

We display ads in a balanced, non-intrusive way. Interstitial ads are shown after a minimum number of user interactions to ensure your primary experience — editing photos — is never interrupted excessively. Publisher content is always displayed first and is more prominent than advertisements.

Text Art is designed for a general audience (13+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used this app in a way that violates this policy, please contact us immediately.

All Users

• Revoke any permission (Camera, Storage, Notifications) at any time via Android Settings → Apps → Text Art → Permissions.
• Reset or opt out of Advertising ID via Android Settings → Google → Ads.
• Disable push notifications via Android Settings → Apps → Text Art → Notifications.

EU / EEA Users (GDPR)

• Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data.
• Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Right to Restrict Processing: Ask us to limit how we use your data.
• Right to Object: Object to data processing for direct marketing.
• Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw Consent: Withdraw ad personalization consent at any time through the in-app consent dialog or Android Settings.

California Users (CCPA)

• You have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used.
• You have the right to opt out of the "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
• You have the right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights.

• Photos & Edited Images: Stored only on your device. We have no access. Deleted when you uninstall the app or manually delete them.
• Firebase Analytics Data: Retained for up to 14 months by Google (Firebase default settings).
• Crash Logs (Crashlytics): Retained for 90 days by Firebase/Google.
• Push Notification Tokens: Retained as long as the app is installed. Automatically invalidated on uninstall.
• Ad-related Data: Governed by Google AdMob and Facebook own data retention policies.

You may request deletion of your data by contacting us. Upon receiving a valid request, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

• All network communication uses HTTPS / TLS encryption.
• Photos are processed entirely on-device and never transmitted to external servers.
• Firebase services use Google enterprise-grade security infrastructure.
• Crash and analytics data is anonymized before storage.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:

• The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
• Significant changes will be notified via an in-app notification or push notification.
• Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
