• Location Data: Approximate and precise geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) voluntarily provided to pin your residential/current address on Google Maps for community navigation.
• Device & Notification Data: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) registration tokens and device identifiers necessary to deliver community alerts, news, and notifications.

3. Device Permissions We Request

To provide core application functionality, the app requests the following system permissions:

• Camera: To allow you to take profile pictures or capture photos for community notices directly from your device.
• Photo Library / Storage: To allow you to choose existing photographs to upload as profile pictures or notification attachments.
• Location (Fine / Coarse): To assist in accurately selecting your residence location on the map.
• Push Notifications: To deliver real-time community announcements, emergency notifications, meeting updates, and birthday alerts.
• Phone / Calling: To allow one-tap phone calls directly to fellow community members from their contact details.

4. How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used strictly for community-oriented purposes, including:

• Creating and maintaining the digital Nana Samadhiyala community directory.
• Authenticating user login and securing account access.
• Facilitating member-to-member communication via Phone, SMS, or WhatsApp.
• Displaying family connections and relationship structures.
• Broadcasting important community announcements, obituaries, celebrations, and emergency notices.
• Reminding community members of upcoming birthdays within the community.

5. Privacy & Contact Restrictions

We implement strict access controls to safeguard member privacy:

• Member-Only Access: Directory details are accessible exclusively to approved and verified community members.
• Female Contact Privacy: In adherence to community safety standards, contact numbers of female members are protected and hidden from general view, visible only under authorized permissions or administrative controls.

6. Third-Party Services

The app integrates third-party services that may collect information used to identify you in accordance with their respective privacy policies:

• Google Play Services
• Firebase (Firebase Core, Cloud Messaging, Firestore) – Used for notifications, authentication, and database services.
• Google Maps Platform – Used for displaying location coordinates and maps.

7. Data Security

We value your trust in providing us your personal information. We employ industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures (including JWT token-based authentication and secure HTTPS communications) to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure of your data.

8. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your personal data for as long as your membership is active in the community. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.

If you wish to delete your account and remove your information from the community directory, you can submit a deletion request by contacting the community administrators or emailing us at the address provided below. Upon verification, your profile and associated data will be removed from our active database.

9. Children's Privacy

Our application does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information directly from children under the age of 13 without the explicit consent and submission of their parent or legal guardian within the family tree structure.
